Website changelog
Dated changes to the guides and website, separate from the pinned upstream editor release.
19 October 2026 — Direct website analytics
The website removes its custom analytics permission panel and footer settings button. GA4 and self-hosted Plausible load directly again; page locations, referral information and campaign parameters are handled by the provider scripts rather than a hidden measurement frame. Old analytics choices no longer control loading. The privacy policy and affected guides describe this behavior. Advertising consent will use Google AdSense Privacy & messaging when advertising is enabled. This revision does not activate ad code or ad placements. The published ads.txt authorization remains available.
18 October 2026 — Content and privacy revision
This revision expands the guides with task-specific instructions, evidence boundaries and troubleshooting. It adds complete workflows for PNG editing and export, saving and backups, and renderer troubleshooting. The PSD guide links synthetic examples and a small reproducible round-trip record.
The website now provides About, Contact and an editorial policy. Guides identify the website maintainer and their content revision date. Trust pages use their own navigation and do not append the generic editor promotion or upstream technical references.
Optional GA4 and self-hosted Plausible analytics are controlled through Privacy Settings. They load only after permission, and withdrawing permission stops the analytics context without reloading the editor. The privacy policy describes the difference between local file editing, ordinary hosting requests and optional measurement. No AdSense account code, ads.txt publisher authorization or advertising placement is added by this revision. A later same-day privacy update discloses how Google and other third-party vendors may use advertising cookies, web beacons and identifiers once advertising is enabled.
Editor version remains unchanged
The hosted HTML, JavaScript and WebAssembly remain the unmodified upstream PhotoCraft v0.7.0 release. A guide update is not a new editor release. The software still has no browser autosave or crash recovery, and the published small PSD test does not establish arbitrary Photoshop compatibility.
The direct ArtCraft Launcher download is separately identified as Launcher v0.6.1 for macOS. Desktop release links lead to upstream and can change independently. Use the source guide to inspect the pinned artifacts and the download guide to distinguish these products.
